Building a home in Nong Khai, Udon Thani or elsewhere in Isan when you're not Thai? These are the questions we hear most.
Can a foreigner build a house in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law generally doesn't let foreigners own land, but you can own the building itself. Common arrangements are building on your Thai spouse's land, on leased land, or under a registered right of superficies. The right choice depends on your situation, so please confirm it with a Thai lawyer before you sign anything. We build the house and handle the building permit whichever route you take.
Do you handle the permits and paperwork?
Yes. For clients who build with us we prepare the permit documents, apply for the building permit, and after handover arrange the house number and the electricity and water meters. We can also prepare documents for a home loan application.
Can I see your work before I sign?
Yes. We're happy to take you to real job sites and finished homes before you sign a contract.
How do you keep the build on budget?
We start from your budget, give you a clear cost estimate before the contract, and design to it. Structural work is supervised by our engineers throughout.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Nong Khai and build across Isan, including Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Khon Kaen, Loei and Sakon Nakhon.
